what kind of spider is it?

So I was outside this weekend playing with my son and noticed the spider below. It was bigger than any spider I am used to seeing. Anyone know what kind it is?

it’s a wolf spider I believe from what someone at work said.

Nasty. I was pulling weeds around the rose bush one day and one of those came jumping out of the grass. and I screamed like a girl. At least I know what it is now.
